This French forged kitchen knife, Aguacejo Model, is ideal for peeling and coring fruits and vegetables. It is very common to use this type of knife in traditional cuisine, and actually in the preparation of dishes with special presentations. Its blade is very strong and is manually sharpened by professional cutlers. There are three blade sizes to choose from: 15, 17 and 20cm. A differentiating characteristic of this knife is the bolster, as it joins the handle and the tang in a single piece. This reinforcement located between the blade and the handle is used as a trim and hand protector so as to prevent cuts if the knife slips. The kitchen knife consists of a blade made of stainless steel 5cr15MoV with a thickness of 2.5mm; a stylishly designed handle with rigidity, toughness and extraordinary resistance to wear, that has a stainless steel butt at the end of the knife. The handle is made of POM with matt polished finish. The rivets are made of stainless steel that are highly resistant to corrosion. These are composed of 2 parts: one male and other female, and permanently fix the handle to the blade. Available in red.
